there’s something for all ages to explore, discover and engage with.
Nestled among the historic courtyard and walled gardens, the Coillte Pavilion at Avondale Forest Park is a free to enter, immersive exhibition that tells the story of Coillte’s work in forestry, innovation, and climate action.
There’s something for all ages to explore, discover and engage with. The pavilion is built with innovative wood construction methods including the use of glulam beams – high strength engineered wooden beams that can replace structural steel.
Inside the pavilion you can uncover the story of forestation in Ireland through the centuries. How it was, how it is, and how it might look in the future. Discover the role that trees have played, and continue to play for our climate, our people, and our wildlife and the important work that Coillte is doing to restore and manage our forests, and to maintain and protect them for future generations.
