Opened since June 2022, the Treetop and Viewing Tower located at Beyond the Trees Avondale is the first of its kind in Ireland and the UK. It is a unique visitor attraction that is accessible to all generations.

1. The length of the treetop walk is 1440m from the start of the walkway to the top of the tower
2. Both Douglas fir and larch timber have been used to build the treetop walk and viewing tower.
3. There are over 110,000 screws used in the installation.
4. The entire treetop walk and viewing tower are accessible to buggies and wheelchairs; the maximum gradient is 6%.
5. The viewing tower is 38m high.
6. The viewing tower has a total of 10 storeys to reach the spectacular viewing platform.
7. You can enjoy 360° panoramic views at the viewing platform that span across the Wicklow mountains and surrounding countryside. Here you will stand 168m above sea level.
8. The slide is 90m long, located in the viewing tower. It is the longest slide in Ireland and promises to be the most thrilling outdoor experience for Summer 2022.
9. The slide is 29m high. U6’s must be accompanied by an adult on the slide.
